We successfully concluded our annual Children’s Cancer Visit & Cancer Awareness Project at the Mulago Children’s Cancer Ward, Mulago National Referral Hospital.
On 1st August 2026, members of the Rotary Club of Kampala Metropolitan and friends united to make a meaningful difference by donating essential items worth UGX 1,953,000, including diapers, bathing soap, sugar, milk, sanitary supplies, tissues, and other daily necessities for children receiving cancer treatment and their caregivers.
Beyond the donations, the project was dedicated to sharing love, encouragement, and hope with young patients and their families during one of the most challenging moments of their lives. The initiative also featured free cancer screening for Club members and guests, reinforcing the importance of early detection and promoting greater cancer awareness within our community.
This annual project reflects our commitment to compassionate service and our belief that together, we can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to children bravely fighting cancer.
